Terms And Conditions
All products are sold with manufacturer's warranty where applicable. No other warranty is expressed or implied. Some products sold are for off-road use only and may never be used on public highways. Please check your local laws regarding the installation of these products.
Payment Forms Accepted
We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Official Bank Checks or Cashiers Checks, Money Orders, Bank Wires. Orders that are paid by Official Bank Checks, Cashiers Checks, and Money Orders will not be shipped until payment has cleared the bank, usually 7-15 business days.
International orders will only be accepted when paid by Bank Wire Transfer or Official Bank Checks and will require 7-15 business days prior to order shipment. Also special shipping rates will apply.
Back Orders
Customers will be notified by email on any back order and given the option to cancel the order without penalty.
Pricing and Typos
Prices are always subject to change without notice. Errors in pricing are not the responsibility of Caliente Automotive Concepts, Inc. (www.calienteautomotive.com). If typographical errors do occur in pricing we will correct the mistake and require the customer to pay the intended price or return the product immediately.
Claims
All shortage and/or damage claims must be made within 5 working days of the receipt date. Obvious damage to packages must be noted by the customer on the carrier's Bill of Lading upon receipt. All claims for hidden damages to merchandise must be reported to the carrier within 3 days. We cannot initiate any claims for you. Shipping errors on our part should be brought to our attention immediately.
Returns and Refunds
We cannot grant any refunds whatsoever on turbo kits, intercoolers, wheels, exhaust systems, downpipes, uppipes, brake kits, suspension kits, special orders or electronic parts. Items that have been installed on a vehicle, or which for other reasons cannot be resold as new, cannot be returned. No returns are accepted without an RMA (return authorization number) obtained from CAC. 25% restocking fee applies to all returns and refunds are given in the form of website/store credit only. No cash or credit card refunds are provided. Only orders that have NOT been shipped may be cancelled. A 10% cancellation fee applies to ANY cancelled order.
Shipping Rates
Shipping and handling is automatically calculated by the web site, based on the size and weight of your order. You can review the S&H charges before you finish checking out. If shipping is not calculated on an item we will contact you prior to shipping to confirm and authorize shipping costs.
For shipping to Canada, Alaska and Hawaii, we will contact you via e-mail with the exact amount for your order.
Shipping is calculated based on UPS Ground service. If you need faster service, please send us an e-mail at the time of your order stating your request. Be sure to reference your order number.
Wheels and tires, brakes, exhaust parts, hoods and wings, spoilers, sway bars, and other large and/or heavy parts will cost more to ship. The site will usually calculate shipping automatically, but sometimes we will have to contact you with the exact amount.
Privacy Policy
We are in the business of selling aftermarket performance parts and accessories, period! Your personal information is used only to ensure the successful completion of business transactions. We do not sell, rent or share any customer information nor do we intend to. We respect our customer's privacy in the same high regard as we respect our customers as customers.
Security
Our site protects your information using advanced encryption technology throughout the ordering process. Most browsers will show a lock icon in the bottom status bar on secure pages. Look for this icon on any web page that asks for your credit card information. We utilize a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) on our web server. This gives us the ability to communicate securely with our web customers. SSL protects all communications with our clients, allowing us to safely take credit card orders and protect sensitive personal information. SSL security makes eavesdropping on our web traffic impossible. So, you never have to worry about credit card safety when shopping at calienteautomotive.com.
